If you thought the Avalanche was ugly and the Ridgeline not a real truck, take a look at the new Rampage. Autoweek had a small story in the print edition, but not the electronic one so I cant post a link.
Hideously ugly, Avalanche-type claptrap, "Dome" roofline, a Hemi and FRONT WHEEL DRIVE! With ideas like this, no wonder DCX is doing worse in the US market than GM or Ford.
This has to be just a concept. It would be a real head turner if only if it was just to throw up. People would buy it just to have something really different.
Can you imagine the torque steer a hemi would have with FWD? Also, where did MOPAR get the idea that people don't want to see outside. The small windows on this "truck" along with the little windows on the 300 and Charger makes one wonder.
Wow that looks horrible, its like a caliber lifted with a ridgeline truck bed wtf is chrysler thinking then again it might be the works of that fine quality and ideas from mercedes, lol.
Hate to say it but I think that thing's pretty neat personally. Saw it in PA last July in person. About the same size as a Ram 1500. But I'd still much rather have a diesel 4x4 RWD truck.
DMAX, I'm with you except I'm not sorry. It has a different look but I like it.I like the sporty lines with the hood scoop, then add a HEMI, and REAR WHEEL DRIVE then you would really have something nice. FWD maybe OK. I would never own one, but I think the Avalanche is BUT$ ugly. and always has been. The Ridgeline is a built like a car IT ISN"T A TRUCK except to HONDA. My 1986 F-250 4x4 is a truck.
