I realize that there are a great number of variables in determing how much a particular truck is worth so I ask this question in the most general of terms. I'm looking for a 95-97 1-ton 4x4, Powerstroke, non-dually, manual tranny, with less than 100,000 miles in excellent condition. What kind of price range should I expect to see? One guy told me 12-15k. Does this seem reasonable? Maybe a better question would be how much would absolutely be too much? How much less for a 460 under the hood? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated because I hope to find and purchase a truck like this within the next month.

From the 460 to the diesel I would say about a $3,000 difference. I would pay no more then about $18,000 for one of these but it would have to be loaded in mint condition. Up in my region used diesels are worth huge cash, they are very rare, especially the fords because of the reliability of the PSD.
