I have a 1998 Expy with the 5.4L

It has been throwing a code with the CEL and of course I cant remember what the number was but it was something like "Ignition System A Primary/Sec Fault

This is accompaned by solid CEL but it feels like the truck has a constant miss that smoothes out above 3500 rpms

The truck barely idles and has no power.....

Anythoughts.. COP?

A COP is very possible. Make sure that they are all plugged in good. Have the plugs ever been changed? The code will give you the cylinder number that is causing the problem. If you post it here, we can help figure out whats going on.
