this months Diesel Power mag, mentioned that next month they will be showing specs on the new '07 (ford '08) diesels in their sept issue due on newsstands 1st week of sept.

not sure if they will be covering just the engine or the entire truck.
edmunds speculated LA auto show in nov. to debut the '08 ford.

My bet is on the State Fair of Texas for an introduction....09/29/2006 thru 10/22/2006...Hope so anyway.

 

That's exactly what my Truck Trend mag said was going to happen.

A good friend of mine at the Dealer told me it was going to be a 6.4L Twin Turbo by Garrett with Bosch or similar Common Rail style injection and they were doing away with CAT style HEUI Style injection system.

 

I think KW is right the Texas state fair will have these new trucks. Ford trucks are by far the most poular trucks down there. The percentage off F-series sold down there is really high compared to other makes. Since GM will bemaking a good prescense down there with there trucks. Ford could really upstage them with there new superduty an engine. I have a friend who lives in Texas an he said Ford superduties are the dominate truck. Ford really caters to that Texas crowd sice theres a huge market for there trucks,
