I can make the CR/IC area, and everything I own is a Ford 4x4 so I will have the appropriate vehicle, probably bring the biggest one I own but then again thats cheating cause I make and run biodiesel in it, and the funny thing is it also gets the best fuel economy of all of them. But I actually have races down in MO the next 3 saterdays, but don't let that stop you if someone has one of those days that they really want to do this.

Cedar Rapids/ Iowa City area would probably work for me as long as it isn't a home game for ISU. I know I will be back home(Iowa City area) on the weekend of September 16th, and the weekend of October 7th. I will probably be back the weekend of the 23rd of September and the 30th of September(homecomming from my highschool) But don't let those dates stop you guys from having it some other time, I was just letting ya know when i would most likely stop by.

if i get enough advanced notice..i could probably arrange a way to get back to eastern iowa, on other weekends besides the ones i know I am coming home because of plans already. I am pretty sure you could use the Hawkeye Downs lot, or Targets/Wal Mart etc.., just throwing out some ideas.

If we decide to do something like this (and I am going and not racing of coarse) if you can get to Newton you can ride from there over with me. That would save you some money.

The racing season is over and now I have some time. A get together sounds like a good idea. My thoughts are do it quick I can ride the bike or some where centrally located if its to cold, have to drive thew van then. It would be nice to meet other Ford guys, I'm an outcast around me, everbody wears bowties here.

WHere around Oxford there Chris? Get through there every so often. Friend of mine used to work out to Hummer, now next door at A-1, such as it is...
If we are going to do this, we need to lock it down. Running out of weekends in Sept, 1st weekend in October is out so those that are going to the multi state meet in KC don't have a conflict.

Yo yo! Haha haven't dropped down here for a while.

CR/IC is great. Lots of member support biased towards that area. Well, most of us like speed and fun adn such, and being guys we're all at least somewhat competitive. So...there HAS to be a go-kart place around there somewhere. There are lots of places around that area to eat at, and of course plenty of malls and stuff for the better halves (as applicable) to be dropped off for (Coralville for IC, Lindale and Westdale for CR).

The girlfriend said she knows there used to be 2 go kart places in CR, but she's not sure if they're still there or anything since its been several years since she's done any of that. Anyways, its an idea to throw out there. Rob'd probably have the engine stroked and ported before we made one lap, then have us lapped by the end with all his motor knowledge, but I just think it'd be fun. Otherwise our initial meet combined with our bowling meet have both been great BS sessions to boot.

Plus I don't mind going up that way cause the girlfriend's parents live in Fairfax so it'll be an excuse for her to get home, and my dad lives in CR so I'll be able to see him, maybe drag him along lol. Get him out for once. Either way I'm game with a couple weeks notice!

I just hope it goes better then my poor bowling meet I tried to put together lol. Either way, later!

i gave up on get together nobody was saying anything about it or if they wanted to meet the place they wanted to meet were parking lots in cr. or ic . i've got a mud pit that makes 600 ackers look like a mud puddle and a moto x track that there should be districk 22 races at i just wanted it to be fun.

I can't do it all by myself... need the members to be more involved in making decisions, as i will not make them all for everybody, it needs to be a group effort. Answers quit coming, so I let it ride. I'm by all means still open for it... I may be having a moving party end of December... it looks like I will finally be an official Iowan again...
