Hi I have a 1964 f100. Its a step side, the question that I have is that the drivers side rear fender has a cut out on it and the mounting arm for a spair tire, I was wondering if this makes it a more rare model? How many were made this way and such. I plan on redoing the whole truck, im not to fond of the look but if its rarer ill keep it on. Thanks in advance

I don't know if it's rare or not but I think it was an option... The guys with the ford parts books will have to answer that question... Personally, its your decision if you want to keep it or not... I don't see many of them at shows and I think its a neat look... On my '62 (which I just put the cab back on the frame today ) I'm gonna keep the sidemount spare and put a van style tire cover on it... I'm gonna paint the face of it the color of the truck and the outer part will be chrome... I've seen it before and it looks pretty cool...
