Replacing Vent Window Handle

How do you remove the vent window handle?

With a hammer and a small punch to remove the spring clevis/roll pin holding it on.

A small finishing nail (with the head against the pin) works too.

Then it slides right off.

Yeah, what Dennis said.

Mine are bent crooked and so loose. :/
Zinc is a soft metal, that's also brittle.
When you go to "bend it back" it'll break.

So what I'm thinking about doing is "drill them out crooked and bush them crooked" to make up for their bending.

What do you think?
