Can someone point me in the right direction to get the instructions for doing the zoodad mod, I can not seem to find it anywhere, and is doing this suitable for the stock air intake?? and explain what the benefits are !! thanks
Yes it is suitable for the stock intake. Basically making sort of a ram air intake. Basically the intake tube is blocked by the radiator support. So if you take the grill off the truck (screws on top, 4 clips on bottom) then right in front of the intake tube use about a 4" hole saw or something similar and cut a hole. I then used a dremmel tool to clean it up to make it look like it came from the factory like that. Hope this helps.
Those are some great pics of the zoodad mod. My truck is completly stock to but i think i may do this sometime down the road.. i have to do all of the "major" work on base at the "hobby shop" do to the fact that i live in an appt. complexe.. oh well right.. ok thanks again and ya this should get into the tech folder. keep it up you guys rock.

I'm gonna do this mod this weekend or sooner if work is slow. Has anyone put any sort of a screen or cap over the hole to keep bugs and critters out after they did this? I'm just thinking if it makes sense to do it or would it get sucked into the intake?
