Rear seat mod

Does anyone have any ideas on improving the rear seat in an extended cab so that a baby seat will be more stable? They seem to want to lean from side to side in mine. I think that the back is to straight.

I had a "lift kit" on the backseat of my '86 and '91 supercabs that lifted the seat about 4" and set it foreward a little bit. Made it a whole lot more user friendly. I don't know if something like that is made for these newer pickups or not.

Is it a rear facing baby seat or older forward facing? I had to put a towel down to tip forward and practically sit on the seat in order to torque the seat belt tight enouph.

I have two crumb snatchers... towel works for me. If you put all your weight on the seat with a knee you can make it real stable.

I had two car seats at the same time in the rear, I used rolled up towels as well. That was with my old extended cab V10. I said "to hell with that" so I got a diesel crew cab.
