My luck......i have an 03, have looked everywhere under the dash, behind the radio....but i cant find the damn code digits.
Unless someone in here shows me some love and help, i'm gonna have to go to the dealer with a vaseline jar to get it.
Send help to BALLRIFIK_KS@YAHOO.COM.

I had to get a new PATS (passive anti theft system) key made since I only have 1, so I took it to the stealership. $135 later, I have the new key and he threw in the master keypad code for free (wasn't that sweet).
I tried awfully hard to find the alleged sticker behind/under the dash, but to no avail. For what it's worth, the stealership said there was not a code sticker in my 2005 X.

I bought a low mileage 2003 Excursion Limited a week ago. Like many people I had no access to the keyless entry code.
This is how I solved my problem.......
...
Once I located the exact location of the module, the entire procedure took less than 20 to 30 seconds. <!-- / message -->
This is how I solved my problem.......
...
Once I located the exact location of the module, the entire procedure took less than 20 to 30 seconds. <!-- / message -->
1) From the driver's door, I laid on my back.
2) I reached up behind the radio and felt for a unit on the firewall.
3) Once I found this unit (at any time during this procedure, I never saw what I was looking for, it was all done by my right hand, and index finger), I felt for the said label.
4) Once the label was located, I felt for the bottom R/H corner of said label. (I have a strong index fingernail, so anyone who bites their fingernails will have a major problem here!!!...). I then started picking at said label (once again, sight unseen), and once I peeled off about 1/2", I reached in with my thumb & index fingers and to my amazement, it started peeling off, as previously mentioned!!!
5) Now I was able to slowly (OK, maybe it was a little faster than slowly) peel it half way up and then I felt a thick wire bundle binding in front of the unit. I just gave it a good tug (towards me & up), and the whole label was in my hand in less than 1 minute from start to finish!!!
Quick & Painless procedure!
It was done after 11PM!
I was on my back, and never saw anything my hands were touching! (I have no idea if my unit is Black or Grey???).
There is a YouTube video I watched earlier on this subject, which gave me an idea of the proximity of where to aim for. The info about the label is correct, as my label was inverted as mentioned.
Once I showed the label to my wife, we went to the door, entered the 5 digit number, and BINGO the locks popped!!! Then used the 7/8 + 9/0 combo and the locks dropped!
Here in Edmonton, the local Ford Dealer wanted $80 + GST to connect it to the computer, or they even wanted to sell me the module for $265+GST so I would have the Factory 5 numbers!!! Ya, OK...
Thanks VaSheriff for saving me $85 bucks!!! Which is equal to the amount of fuel it will take to return home with our very clean 2005 SLT F350 Super Duty!
I am most certain this shall work with F250's as well.
