Tom, post the instructions so I can add it to the tech folder.

Sure, I'll hook up to the old Lincoln tomorrow and take some screenshots.

On a pre-2002 you have one 20 minute option..
The De Bruijn sequence!! It's 3125 numbers that WILL unlock your door..
Once it's unlocked backtrack 5-10 numbers and start from there until you figure out
what 5 digits did it.. Not fun, but you can do it quicker then going to the dealer.

Here's the link to the number and info you need to do this!

Thank you so much for posting Mark42. It worked just as you said on my 2000 Excursion. Of course my code had to be in the third quarter of the list and just as I was beginning to lose hope, clunk! Worth the small investment in time and I will toast your health with some single malt bought with the money you saved me. Cheers!

Does this information also apply to the 2010 models too? We bought a 2010 Expedition last Fall and the wife's been bugging me to find out how to get this fixed.

Thanks.

Thanks.
If you are referring to the code...if it's a 5 digit panel and the code is 5 digits, the string will work (there are only so many ways to enter a 5 digit code from a 5 digit keypad, and that string accounts for all of those possible combinations).

If for some reason the code is more than 5 digits then no. Also, once you get the code in and unlocking, the process to change the code may be different (consult the owners manual).

If you are referring to the stickers, not sure if they'd be in similar locations or not (my gut says not).

Thanks.
When I purchased my current Ex, I went to ford for an oil change and asked for the code. They gave it to me without charging the normal $99. You could try that

Thanks.

Going to throw this out there again, check your owners manual. Unless the original owner tossed it it will have a card in it with the code on it.

I swung down the "ash tray" compartment to the left of the trash bag hook and looked straight at the sticker/numbers on my black RAP in my 05 F250. Took me 30 seconds once I read all your feeds and knew what to look for and where it was located.

Code for 2006 F250 - behind drivers side storage bin

Just purchased a new to me, used 2006 F250, read tons here, took off a lot of panels, and ended up with a sore back. Searched YouTube and finally found the code behind the drivers side storage bin. Had to look way back there, by moving the white foam/insulation out of the way. Got it! Programmed it! And it worked!

See this super helpful video:

Very easy....once you know where to look.

Luckily my door code was in the early/mid sequence, got it figured out following the list of progressive codes.

Thanks FTF

Is there a way to enable a brute force lockout on the older models? I KNOW my code. I'd like to somehow make it so that someone can't come up and enter the 3000 number combination to open the door.

Also, is there a way to change the master code? I know you can add an additional "personal" code, but the master code still stays in there.
