I just got a 2006 F350 same problem. Anyone out there know where
to find the code for this model
Maybe the list of codes would help, my email is ; howard@theprojectmgr.org
thanks, Howard

You can do a search and find out plenty of places your 5 digit code could be. If yours is like mine, however, it is in a all-but-nonviewable place on the inside firewall covered by layers of @#$%.

Finally, I found it!!! For my 2003 X I took the fuse panel off to no avail. Bought the radio tools and pulled the radio and found nothing. Then, after reading several posts about taking out the trash bag holder panel (removing the (2) 9/32" screws) and pulling out the cup holder, from the passenger side I shined the light above the white hose to the left and the label shined like a beakon. After looking around some wires I was able to read the numbers off. The numbers are upside down from this view, but in plain sight. Thanks to all who posted. When I removed the trash bag holder panel $.26 fell out. So it paid to check it this way.
Found mine behind the radio. Took me the reading of several posts and digging through the insulation but finally found it. Otherwise, you can have the dealer get it for you but they will charge you. If you have a code reader you might be able to find it also. Hope this helps.
I have a 1998 Mercury Mountaineer..found my code on the computer module inside the fire wall...I have tried all the directions here to reprogram these door codes. I cant seem to get them to work correctly. Once I entered the codes, the inside lights and outside mirrors lights come on but doors will not open. The code 7/8 and 9\0 to lock the doors works. But when I even entered the factory codes does not open the doors..any help or ideas here...thank you Bernie
Bernie you don't need the codes to make the lights come on,, Pressing one of the buttons will turn the lights on so you can see the buttons at night. 7/9 will always lock. But you still need the code to unlock the doors. Apparently you don't have the code or possibly entering it incorrectly.
so you think the codes i got from the computer module is not the right factory codes. I was wondering that myself, once i pull the module out there was a extra sticker right there, now Iam thinking maybe that was not the right keyless entry codes. Any ideas what the code whould look like? That sticker show two letter like NT-1..then had a barcode label with 42517-1118..so i thought the 42517 was the keyless entry code...any ideas.thx Bernie
So, you know those cars with that keyless entry pad? The one under the driver's side handle? Well, if you look closely you will see that there are really only 5 buttons, labeled "1/2", "3/4", "5/6", "7/8", "9/0". In an effort to avoid a little confusion, I'm going to call those buttons 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9, respectively.
A little experimentation will reveal that, if the code is 11357, and you type 5113579, the door will still open! This means that with 7 characters we managed to try out 3 sequences - 51135, 11357, and 13579. After the inital 4 numbers (which sort of primed the pump) every digit tries one new sequence. Since there are 55 length 5 sequences of characters from an alphabet of size 5, we know that we'll need to try 3125 sequences total. With our intuition from above, we would hope that we could find a sequence of size 4 + 3125 (priming the pump, followed by one new sequence every keypress). It turns out that a mathematician named de Bruijn has already done all of the hard work for us on this one, and all of the relevant math can found under the names de Bruijn sequence and de Bruijn graph. But I'm not going to talk about math any further here. Right now, I am going to give you a sequence of minimal length that, when you enter it into a car's numeric keypad, is guaranteed to unlock the doors of said car. It is exactly 3129 keypresses long, which should take you around 20 minutes to go through.
it looks/is much shorter than the 15 page document... and it does have all combos (at least it had my trucks'). when your door unlocks, you can simply backtrack 5 numbers.

On my 03 Ex, the following is a summary as to how I found the code:
I finally got it!! I found the correct plastic box by putting my head near the gas peddle and looking almost straight up, slightly toward the radio. My controler box was black in color and had the label with the code on the surface that faces the driver's door. Of course, the mirror shows the number upside down and backward. My number sequence was all 8's, 1's and 9's. All the nines looked like sixes in the mirror. Anyway, I only took me four trys to get the key pad working.....doh! My biggest problem was determining which of the many plastic boxes under the dash was the correct one to wiggle around with a mirror. My hint to those who have to do this search is that my box is almost directly behind that strorage cubby hole on the dash, the one that is below and slighty to the left of radio when looking at the front of the dash. Once you find the correct box, getting the mirror up to it and reading the code was fairly easy.
