I thought i read it was hard wired. I am not sure but mine does not light up or anything when I press it. I am stumped and want to use it. It's a great feature.

In my '04 f-250 thru 550 manual the batterie replacement procedure is on page 80-82
it also tells you how to program your key pad .
1 It says " to make sure your rig is electronicly locked
2 put key in ign.
3 turn key from lock to off possition
4 cycle 8 times between on and off possition ( the 8th turn must end up on the on side
5 doors will cycle ie. lock then un lock
6 within 20sec. program keyless pad by pressing 7/8&9/0 together
7 door will then cycle again confirming programingmode has been activated
8 within 20 sec press any button on your remote ( if you take longer than 20 sec you'll have to start over
9 door locks will cycle again conf. remote was programed
10 repeat step8 for each remote
11 turn rig off after programing pad and remotes
12 door will once again cycle to confirm that the program mode has exited

A couple years ago while getting new keys programed for the remote start had Ford run the numbers for the keypad. It ended up being a very easy to remember combination.

With the actuator now out it doesn't really matter!

Finish nails can be used. Insert 2 in each side.

Smile 2006 F250 Computer Module for factory code

Thank you so much for the information on where to find the module for the keyless entry factory code. Mine was located behind the radio area and behind the insulation. It was not white, it was black but it did have the five digit number. Dealer wanted to charge me $90 to get it for me.

No. Really. My '06 Lariat doesn't have any radio holes. Do I have to pull the whole fake-wood plate to get the radio out? If so, does it just pull out or what?

Bob

I was able to get to it thru the fuse cover plate located under the steering wheel and I also took off the small drawer next to that. I did not have to remove anything other dash parts or radio. It took me three nights to find it, but I finally did in the area of the radio, up by the fire wall, behind the insulation. Good Luck.

I would greatly appreciate it, if someone could please email this sheet with the keypad codes on it. I spent an hour yesterday looking for the sticker and it appears it has already been peeled off! My email is Joe306sc@yahoo.com Thanks in advance!
