Mother may I???

I too would like a copy of the codes... The dealer sez my '04 F250 has an "aftermarket" Ford keypad... Funny, the OEM window sticker indicates that it cam with keyless entry?!?!?!

rtkerr153@gmail.com

Just out of curiosity, wouldn't it be easier if the file was associated with a sticky?

Ford does make an adaptor part to add to the vehicle for keyless entry. However because it wasn't added at the factory it should still be a "factory" item. If this is the case they won't be able to find the code. The way to tell this is the key pad will be attached to the door with a very strong double side tape and not installed through the door hole at stamped in the door at the factory. I have installed one of these systems and they do work "like factory installed".. However the dealer would not be able to find the code.

Got it.

Thanks for the help. It sure would be nice if Word could sort it and eliminate duplicates like 12345, 11335, 21436 etc....

Possibly in Excel and a macro.. but being retired too much fun to do work "stuff".

Would rather be flying, fishing,, corvetting,, on a cruise,, or just drinking that morning cup of coffee to do the macro. Perhaps someone with "energy" can do it.

I just marked out the ones I didn't think were correct and had at it. 25 attempts later I had the code. Jim
