Thumbs up

I have had my EX for a couple of years and love it but never knew how to get the keypad to work. It is a 2000 Limited 7.3 Diesel that has been the best truck I ever drove. I do have the same trouble as many others with door lock and power window options. But no matter if I am on the highway in TX, the snow in KY or the mountains in MT it is always getting me where I need to go.

If anyone has the keypad code list could you please send it to me too.

Thanks in advance

I did what was posted here and used a small mirror on a telescoping handle and a flashlight. After trying every other way with no luck.I moved the white piece of insulation and stuck the mirror back there and lighted it up with the flash light and there it was plain as day. Thanks to the person I can't remember who ,but thanks it worked just as you said.

patience and logic is the key

Do a set of 10 mark them off, and stop for a while. Then do 10 more.

Don't do those that anyone could find. 1,2,3,4,5 1,1,1,1,1 etc.

I printed the list, started at the bottom of the second pager (4 pages) and after about 30 attempts found it.

You must press the last 2 buttons after each attempt to reset the computer.

It can be done,, I did it and I have ABSOULTELY NO PATIENCE.

Best of luck,

New guy here but not to diesel forums. Member over at DS and just found you guys. I just traded for a 00' EX limited with lots of mods tonight and also need the list of codes if someone would'nt mind helping out a new guy? I hate having keyless and not being able to use it? Already looked under the dash on both sides and both rear panels with no dice? Thanks and look forward to chatting with everyone................
