My son and I are working on a 1963 F250 Unibody. Has the original 292 y-block in it, rebuilt and bored .30 over, 4 speed transmission with granny 1st gear. Came across this thread while searching to try to figure out production numbers for this truck....entering the data on the way through. Questions? LMK.

I know where one sits in a private salvage yard. If anyone is interested, pm me and I'll see if he'll what to sell it. It is a long box and is in very restorable condition.

Mines a '62 short wide unibody, 292, AOD transmission, 3.89 rear gears with a Jaguar front clip and sway bar. Low in the front with rather small tires, stock height in the back with rather large tires. Lots of patina, scratches, peeling paint...well, you get the picture. Drives really nice with that front clip.

I just bought this 1963 Custom Cab with 8ft bed today for $400. My son's friend's dad had it and it's been sitting since 1983 and he was considering junking it. I couldn't let it go to the crusher, so I bought it. It's missing the engine and transmission so I plan on doing the CV front suspension swap and powering it with a 32V DOHC 4.6L.

That's a nice looking uni you have there Eric. Love those big window models. Good to see more unibody trucks getting put back on the road again on this side of the country. (I'm in WV) If you happen to need any parts for it don't hesitate to send me a message and I will see if I can help you out. Lewis

My 62 f250 before and after her 4wd conversion. She sits on stock 73 f250 springs and axles Dana 44 front Dana 60 rear with 4.10 gears. I pulled the not running 292 and 3 SPD out and installed a 360 fe with an NP 435 and divorced 205 transfer case. She'd been off the road since the early 90s

anks, it is a fun rig its a total blast to drive and has been an enjoyable build so far. I plan on making her a daily driver in the summer months. I was thinking of starting a build thread on my latest project also a 1962 f250 but factory 4x4.
