B-100 Storage?

Folks,
My home heating oil supplier can deliver B-100 to my door step so i was wondering how long B-100 will store for without any issues. I'm thinking of getting a 275 gal storage tank and refilling my PSD from it.
Thanks,
Nut

Good for You! I've stored it for up to 1 year with no problems. I would recommend NOT drawing your oil from the bottom of the tank. My final storage tank has a tap about 3" up from the bottom, and I check the bottom drain about once a month just to make sure there is no condensate in the tank. Where you live you will want to blend D-1 at about 30-40 percent in the winter to avoid gelling problems. Good Luck!

I store my b100 in a 275 gallon tank as well. I also as mentioned, above have a tap ( the original outlet) on the bottom to check for water on occasion. I have put 20% kerosene 80% b100 (b80) in a glass jar and in the freezer with no clouding or jelling resulting. In the summer I run B100 but will be mixing it in the winter with kero, by the way the homebrew I made seemed to cloud at about 37F in B100 form. Given it to opec one bean at a time, Dave
