What did I buy???
I cannot find a 1961 f-100 on the internet that is not a UNIBODY. It is possible that the cab and the bed are a combination of trucks. Here is description below:

61 ford, tilt column, camaro front subframe w/disk brakes, 9" ford posi 3.50 w/aerospace disk brakes and Moser axles. Camaro front clip. have everything, bucket seats(not mounted). 500 cu in cadillac mtr, 350 trans. NEW steering box, pump and tie rods. smooth tailgate. roll pan. ALL NEW WIRING. NEW cab mounts installed. motor runs good. plus misc extra parts ( doors w/power windows and flush mount handles). 1 chrome grill, 1 painted grill. B&M shifter. air horns. all goes for 1 price. NEW front whl 15X8/NEW tires, w/matching back 15X10's. chevy bolt pattern all around.

61 and 62 were the only years that all fleetsides were unibody. 63 they offered unibody or standard (this may have been a midyear switch, don't remember) The other thing to note is the doors are 61-66 non-unibody doors. I agree with camperspecial65 that the front clip looks like a 61. I believe the non-unibody fleetside beds on the 63 were the same beds used on the 1960 models (not a 100% sure on this, it has been 6 years since I was hunting info and parts for my 61, maybe one of these days I'll get another 61 unibody and stick all of the parts I hunted down in it)

The unibody was built during 1961, 62, AND 63 (I own a 63). But they also made the Flairside during that period and in 63 (I believe I'm correct) they put some 1960 "wrongbed's" behind the Flairside cab to appease the truck buyers unhappy with the unibody style. The truck in question looks like someone took a Flairside cab and put a 64-66 bed on it, keeping the 61 grill (or used a 64 cab and bed with the 61 trim (grills etc. all interchange). My 63 crew has the 60 "wrongbed".
BTW: Hotrodhenson, what does the VIN tag say? 61-62 s/b on the glove door, 63 and later on drivers door.

1961/63 F100/250 4WD Stylesides used the 1957/60 pickup bed, as did all the F350 Stylesides, 1961 thru 1966.
1961 Styleside production figures: F100 4WD = 255 / F250 4WD = 149 / F350 = 1,191.

The back of cab equipment could be: a Flareside or Styleside Bed, Stake Bed, Flatbed, Dump Body, even a Utility Body.
How can one say it looks like a 1961 front clip?
Except for the grille & (1964) bumper, the front clip is the same 1961/64.
Remove the grille, bumper and upper grille panel, what yr izit? 1961? 1966?
The hood is the same 1961/66, so are the 2WD fenders, the lower stone shield, the 4WD fenders (exc 1966 F100 4WD's which used 2WD fenders).
The unibody was cancelled midyear 1963, after that date, all 1963 F100/250 Stylesides use the 1957/60 bed.
1963 UniBody production: F100 = 40,535 / F250 = 5,456
1963 Styleside production 2WD: F100 = 76,728 / F250 = 14,159

Inre to 1962 production figures, there's a problem.
1962 F100: Unibody = 68,983. Now here's the problem: F100 Styleside Pickup = 24,610.
But Ford's production figures for 1962 lumped all the 2WD & 4WD's together.
So what does that Styleside figure represent? All 4WD's? Or not?
Seems to me that's too many 4WD F100 Stylesides, so...??

There are no factory 4x4 unibodies, at least none that are verifiable as a body66 and a F11 or F26 VIN that matched the frame..........I believe the gist of the post was for 2 wheel drive trucks F100s and F250s. 4x4 production is low for 61 to 66. and F350s dont count, as they recieved if so ordered, a F350 only nine foot styleside 57 to 60 bed.
So if any one knows of a 4x4 uni out there with the ORIGINAL Vin on the rails and matches the 61 vin plate or warranty plate for 62 or 63, please post it. So i can say i have verified at least one before i bite the dirt nap....

I sure appreciate the feedback that everyone of you has provided. I will certainly look at the title and the vin# and provide you all with that feedback. I could not believe that the WWW has not produce more pictures of owners trucks that are the same setup as mine (body wise).
On a different note, where is the most economical resource to find like windshields, weatherstripping, and body bolt kits?

Look to the vendors that support this site.
For rubber ask if their Dennis Carpenter produced. Best reproduction rubber out there.
A windshield is as close as your local glass shop. the 61 to 66 windshield is still produced. and should cost around $130.
The best body bolt kits i have found out there is Totally Stainless out of Gettysburg PA.
