Got muddy and hit a Chevy!

Went out with a bunch of trucks this weekend and hit a swamp
in a farmers field that he let us destroy. Had an awesome time
everyone out there was real nice. I was entering the mod bog the
same time a chevy was and we hit. Not bad though. I have to
replace my aluminum around the grill and straighten out my
headlight. No one wanted to try the pit so one of the guys we
went with Doug (44 cut ground hawgs 460 inside) went first and
made it to the other side. I with my 35" swampers was the second
to dive in only to make it 30 yards in and stop. I backed out and
hit it hard in 3rd 4lo and made it a little farther but then backed out
after coming to a complete stop again. I was the only person to go in stop
and then back out. All others had to be towed out. 4 trucks made it
to the other side many made it half way and then were over come
with water. I got lucky and went first so it wasn't so deep yet.
Here are my pics I'm the first couple of them. Lost my grill after I hit
the mud a little too hard on the second try.

Doug owns the red F-150 with the blue bed and
his buddy Jeff owns the other F-150 with the front
bumper that has the bars covering the whole grill.
(the one pulling people out)
They fun to wheel with and good guys all around.
Also I know it's a chebby but this thing was mean bored stroked
all the trimmings running race fuel and on 44's here's the
vid click here 8mb quicktime format

Looks like a fun time! -except for the broken stuff lol. When I get my Bronco built up you'll have to let me tag along, but that probably wont be in my life time lol.

Yeah I wish that front grill I have wasn't steel it's way too heavy to attach to 1/16" aluminum on that grill shell. Anyway does anyone know where I can find a cheap
grill shell for a 78 f-250? In order to go through most of that stuff (an not flood your cab) you would need 6" lift with 35" that's what I had and I did ok. But I'm sure they
wouldn't care if I brought someone along.

Looks like you had a great time. I see on your liscense plate it says historical vehicle. Those 79s are gettinold but I didnt think they were that old. Looks like a lot off Fords in the event. I bet your happy with the way it turned out for you. You did real good

KO: I gotta worry about stuff like that or else I just won't care
and then my rig will get real ugly real fast haha. Plus she's my
first vehicle ever always been there for me I gotta keep her in
good shape.

150 Ford: I don't drive her too often on the road and if your vehicle is over 25 yrs
in Ohio you can get those plates and you only have to buy them once and they
were like maybe $50.

SoArkSI: Doug's rig is a beast. Dana 44's on the front but it kept trashing axle joints
he said they run Spicer axles and a heavy duty Super U-joint. I believe he is in
the process of swithcing over to D60's though. T-case I believe is a NP205
mounted to a NP435 (same thing I run in my truck). Basically the same as my
truck except coils up front and a 460 under the hood.
