Upper Kingpin Won't Take Grease--What to do?

My upper kingpin won't take grease. Well, it might have taken a tiny bit, but not much, not even one good squirt. The lever on the grease gun just was rock solid and nearly impossible to move. I even changed the grease nipple and it still wouldn't. The other upper took about 10 squirts and it came out like it is supposed to.

Does this mean there is a problem with the kingpin?

Should I jack it up and try to grease it without the vehicle weight on it?

Should I try to have a power grease gun do it?

Thanks

Why don't you replace the Zerk Fitting. They do go bad from time to time.

In his original post he said he did replace the grease fitting. I am not sure what year truck this is, but on my 77 F150 you can unscrew the end caps and clean them out if need be.

This is a 1997 Class A motorhome chassis. I jacked up the wheel on that corner and was able to get some grease in, maybe 4 pumps. It was a bear of a squeeze on the lever, but it seemes to have worked. Still nothing seemed to come out the opposite gap. I'm going on a 500 mile soon and will try again after the trip. Maybe it will work loose. And yes I did change the zerk fitting, using an angled fitting the last time, which worked much better for removing the grease gun.
