when was the last time the truck had a tune up. wires, plugs, etc. your symptoms were vague. let us know in detail so we can help trouble shoot with/for you.

We need a little more info. Also, a little punctuation would help us out too. A little difficult to understand your posts.

Do you have a check engine light? By the way it sounds, you should have one. That being the case, you can either buy a code reader from Wal-Mart, or you can go to www.fordfuelinjection.com and to the column on the right hand side of the screen is information how how to pull the codes yourself.

sounds like sensor problems. you have to hook the truck up to a computer or have someone help you with the trouble codes. most repair shops will do it for around 90 dollars. this beats replacing good sensors. it could be the computer itself. take the truck in and have it checked. it sounds more electrical than mechanical.

93 you can read the codes without spending a dollar. Go to the page mentioned above. Unles you know of a really, really good shop, I would not take in and tell them you think a sensor is bad. Most shops will be glad to change all your sensors and take your money. Some aren't trying to cheat you, It's just hard for shops to find good electrical mechanics. There are lots of people here that know these trucks electronics very well. Experience helps and theres a lot of it at FTE.
First thing get the codes read. Next, post them.

Change the fuel filter, sounds like you have a lack of fuel volume not pressure.
Do you have two fuel tanks, if so does it run the same way off both tanks?
I would also check your fuel pressure after you change the filter. You check it with a gauge at the fuel rail with the key on and pin#6 (fuel pump) of the test (DLC) connector grounded. You can not check the fuel pressure without grounding pin#6. I have found also that an old set of R12 A/C gauges with an adapter work very well in checking fuel pressure an also fuel volume.

To check fuel pressure you ground pin#6 of the test connector (DLC), put a fuel pressure gauge on the test point (looks like a tire valve) of the fuel rail and turn the key to on.
The DLC:

I am not sure of your question. If pin#6 is grounded and the key is on then the fuel pressure should stay at about 45 psi for the 5.0/5.8 and 55 psi for the 4.9 for as long as you leave the key on.

If you do not ground pin#6 than the pump will only run for one second but the fuel pressure should stay above 30 psi (for 5.0/5.8) for about five minutes unless the injectors fire.

ok grounded pin#6 fuel pressure stayed at 42 psi so the fuel pump is ok right? what if the air filter was dirty will that cause it to start hard?

'93 has 3-digit codes, so code 33 is not valid. You could have a bad TPS, coil, ECM, cracked head, blown head gasket, we can't see the truck, so you have to give us more info than "runs bad and dies." Your inertia switch could be tripped, too.
