Abs Light On

Well got in the expy yesterday and the ABS light stayed on, went to local brake shop and he connected a scanner to it and said it was a bad sensor, center speed sensor. He showed it to me, it is on top of the rear differential. He said normally he would just change it but there was some tape around the wire loom and thought maybe it could be something else. He suggested the stealership but I am going to avoid that at all costs. I just wonder if anyone else has had this problem, if so about how much does this sensor cost? Thanks, Dan

Less than $25 and about 10 minutes on your back with a 10 mm socket and ratchet.

Very common failure.

Thanks Steve, got one at the dealership for $21, will put it on if it cools down some, don't want to bake on the concrete today.
