Ford f-150 vs Ranger

I'm looking at 1997 - 1998 pickup truck, but i can't decide between a ranger and an f-150. So far i know i want 2WD, an extended cap, V6, and a 6ft bed. Is there a big difference in size of the bed itself? How much space is there in between the wheels in the box? What is the load capacity on f-150 and Ranger? thanks
