Air horn compressor kits going up. Buy now!

There are only two sites I have found that carry kits with the larger 6 gallon air tanks. Groverairhorns is one and oviedosafetylights the other. The second site is supposidly a dealer for the first and is much cheaper for the same kits. Having talked with groverairhorns it sounded very much like that is going to change in the near future as the dealer is clued in on price adjustments to be made.

So . . . if you are thinking about kits don't wait. Something tells me there won't be a $70 to $90 price difference much longer.

You snooze you lose.

I had to kick my daughter off the computer as soon as I got off the phone with Grover. Got my order in just in time. Twin 6 gallon air tanks - you'll hear me long before you see me.

The reason for the price increase is because they have upgraded the compressor. Both Grover and Oviedo are good people. I have no qualms in doing business with them again.

Yeah,

12 gallons but that won't sound the horns for long. They use alot of air.

Damn, I use 10 for my full air suspension, but I keep them filled at a round 265-270 psi.

The horns operate around 130 to 160 psig. People who do this as a hobby tend to use 25 gallon tanks minimum with high volume compressors or (multiple) 2000 psig high pressure air bottles with regulators.

Not to say you can't get away with less as I am doing. One will have to do with shorter blasts and long(er) waits between as the tanks repressurize.

Remember where these horns were originally mounted.
