80-82 f250 man. clutch bracket Q's

Hi, I have an 83 f250 4x4 I'm putting together. I installed a 400, t19, and bw1356 tcase. Anyhow, since the tranny is set up for mechanical clutch linkage, and this truck originally had a c6, I need the clutch parts that mount to the frame, motor, and the rods in-between. Now, the rods, as well as bushings, I can get from JBG, but the frame bracket I can't. Is that part the same as the 73-79's? how about the equalizer bar and motor bracket...80's specific? I have plenty of the 73-79 parts, but try finding an 80-82 w/400 in a junkyard, not too easy...and without already having the rods, I can't tell if the brackets will line up with each other or not. Thanks in advance.

I went through the same thing when I yanked my C6 and put in a NV4500 in my 75. Most of the stuff in the junk yards has been pretty much picked over. What worked for me is call as many truck junk yards as possible and put them on the alert for an 80-82 with 400 when they get another one in. These old beasts are still being dragged in every day. Tell the guy on the phone that you'll grease him with 40 bucks if he calls you and he puts you first in line. If he hands you what you need its well worth it. Or you could watch the paper for an old junker. I did the same as you-bought most at JBG but you cant get the equalizer supports new anywhere. I doubt that the 73-79 stuff would work but maybe someone else knows better.

I'm starting to think it would be easier to install a hydraulic clutch.
