ok I have a 94 2.3l 5-speed manual and I have been trying to find the stock rear end gears they put and also stock tire size. I have 31in tires on my truck and reageared to 4.10's but I am looking at going to 4.56's. My trucks just to slow on the freeway. I just want to know in 5th what the max speed I can cruise at with 4.56's and still get good mpg. thanks for all the help

 

The higher the number, the lower the ratio. 4.56 gears are lower than 4.10s and will slow it down even more, unless you really want the motor to be winding out at freeway speeds. Acceleration will be great though.

For the stock gear ratio, look at the door tag for the axle code and then decode it here:

There should also be stock tire size info on the door sticker, probably 215/70-14"
