I can show you video of a guy pulling a semi-tractor with his teeth, but that does not mean that the guy is stronger than the semi-tractor. What's your point, nawf?

There are a lot of other factors from where I'm standing. The Dodge is a dually more rubber to the ground better traction and also weighs more who knows what gears are in the two, proves nothing is right.<O</O

Nice web site loved seeing a Ford Ranger leaving a Dodge SRT 10 eating it's dust. That's one mean Ranger. I don't know about you guys, but aside from the dodge being dually one ton diesel and the Ford looked to be a 3/4ton SWR the Ford did not have a Powerstroke badge. Not even close to being an even contest.

I'd be curious to see what the Ranger had under the hood.

The Dodge was a Full Size Quad Cab vs. a Single Cab Ranger, so the Ranger had the weight advantage.

Still impressive though.

That Ranger had a big advantage in the weight department and sounded like a V8 to me. We all know what a ford V8 is capable of, so it should be faster.

The tog of war, looked like teh superduty wasn't even spinning it's tires.

Yeah, the tug-o-war was not equal. As stated, the Dodge had the weight advantage (Crew Cab vs Super Cab) and it was a Dually vs SRW. So the Dodge started out with the upper hand. Who knows what other mods each truck may have had. Now I couldn't tell if the Ford was the V8, V10 or Powerstroke, but it sure didn't look like a Powerstroke.

Of course the victory goes to the Dodge, but next time they should use a better matchup than this.

Actually in 80% of the time a SRW has better traction than a DRW. It is all about lbs/sq/inch. The real advantage of the DRW is in load carrying.

DRW are really bad on slick roads. The rear end is all over the place.

What are you smoking? If thats your rational, then the dodge has more LBS and more sq in of traction on the road. In any case, 6 tires on the asphalt has more traction then 4 any day. We arn't talking about icy road conditions anyway.

Oh and as for that dodge outpulling the ford, I didnt see any badges on the ford indicating it was a powerstroke at all. But I did see the puff of black smoke indicating it could be one. That dodge did yank it pretty good though!
