Ok, I'm looking for a diesel cng system for my 99 ford f250 sd 7.3L. The reason I
'm interisted is I have somthing called "Free Gas" running to my house ,in other words I don't pay a natural gas bill. Has anyone seen a cng/diesel system I know I cant run 100% cng in a diesel because of its high ignition temp. but I think you can run up tp 80% cng and use the diesel fuel as a catalyst to burn the cng.I also know that propane is similar cng but hase more btus per # and can condence at a lower pressure, so I think I'll need a cng tank a regulator to handle 3600# hoses, a propane injector/controller etc.that said any help?
Can you run cCNG through an HEUI injector? I remember back in the day our school busses had "multi fuel" switches that let them run on #2 or propane, and I've seen CNG powered tractors....but none of those engines ran the injectors we run.

I think the injector is realy a kinda carburetor that sits on the intake and sprays cng or propane into the air intake then the diesel fuel is needed to ignite the cng or lp, only a small amount of diesel fuel is needed as a catalyst so there must be a way to reduce the diesel injector pressure while in cng mode...right?
