New Front End already???

You do more left right turns in the city. That wear downs the tires more in any vehicle. Its just happening much quicker on the ford then what I'm used to. Instead of buying top of the line Toyo's, I should have gone with the much cheaper Mastercrafts. But the truck was new I just thought I should go with the best tires I could afford.

Now that's a first! You stated that the wear was right across the tread. Well that sounds like even wear to me. Don't see how turning a lot is going to wear your tread more than on HWY use. I would argee if your inner and outer edges were wearing fast and you power thru the turns. But under normal city driving with the alignment in spec there should be no excessive wear. I seem to recall Ford changed the alignment specs, wonder if your shop knew the new specs.
BTW the front end on these trucks is a lot better than back in the past. Any front end shop will tell you that.
Personally I think early excessive even wear is due to the weight of the truck and the recommended tire sizes are a little under engineered to carry the weight

My first mistake was not taking the truck to the dealor inwhich I bought it. My tires were also worn only on the inside of both front tires. Three tread grouping would wear on a slant while the fourth tread would be higher and slant down and so no. I know, its strange to imagen. They replaced the fr. left control arm, both sides barrings, ball joints, idler arms, ect. I only do hi-way miles,32K. Ford tough? The dealor said it was do to potholes. I told him if I it can't handle the road, how would it handle off-road? I'm afraid to find out. I can understand faulty parts but don't lie to me.

I put a 2in autospring lift on my 04 FX4 scab at 2500 miles. Had a buddy algin it. I replaced my BFG's at 45,000 miles. Tread wear was very even. I could have gotten another 10,000 miles out of them, but I got a small tear in the side wall of one of them. I rotated them every oil change (5,000 miles). My point is, there are alot of 04+ trucks out there that don't have the problems posted on this site.....
