Fusebox Location in 2006 E 350?

<HR style="COLOR: #666666" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->Hello all from N. Calif.. Glad to have found this forum. Just joined in hopes of getting some help. I installed new power extending towing mirrors to replace the factory power mirrors on my 2006 Ford E-350. Evidently I blew a fuse and have not been able to locate the fusebox that contains the power mirror fuse. I found a fusebox in the engine compartment on the driver's side but the power mirror fuse was not there. According to my Ford manual there appears to be another fuse box somewhere in the passenger compartment but I didn't see it. Is it hidden behind a panel?
Thanks in advance for any help.

There is a fusebox under the dash on the driver's side in my 2004, your 2006 should have one in the same place. The fuses are located under a plastic cover under the dash at the far left side.

Thanks, I found it!

Hey Al_e._gator,
Thanks for the information. I found the fuse box right where you said it should be. I should have ignored my owners manual and I would have found it on my own before having to ask.

PhatBouy,

You should have a power distribution panel located under the hood as well as the fuse panel under the dash. On the earlier versions of the body style that you have ('92 forward) it was located under the brake master cylinder. It should have "power distribution panel" in raised yellow letters on it's lid. The fuses and relays for the larger loads are located there. All of the trailer towing circuits are there if that is what you are looking for.

It's possible that it has been relocated in the later models, but it should be easy to find as it's a fairly large box.

Gene
