I had one replaced by my mechanic under extended warranty some time ago. It seems that the part was $30-40 and labor was an hour's worth or so (I didn't pay much attention to the bill since I wasn't paying). Not much help if you're a DIY guy, but for $80 or $90 it might be worth it to have the job done.
i have taken them out on a 01 expy on the rear doors not a bad job a little pain in the butt trying to get the actuactor back in the clip, my actuators sheared off the rivits for the mounts so i bolted them back into place took about a hour to do the job.
