97 F-350 powerstroke that started running ruff and then stalled. Now I can't get it to crank.

Any modifications to your truck?

When you say it won't crank do you mean it won't turn over at all or it turns over but will not start?

Does it show a check engine light?

If it turns over but does not fire check the fuses in the block on the driver side inner fender under the hood. #22 is the fuse for the fuel heater which also supplies the PCM. If it is blown, there is a plug on the side of the fuel filter housing (under the hood looking thing on top of the engine, you will have to remove it for this). Unplug, replace the #22 fuse and try it again.

Is the tachometer moving when the engine is turning over.
No tach movement = bad CPS.

I thought all diesels came with a tach from the factory as well. I wonder if your dash cluster was replaced at one time?
