Transmission Identification????

Okay, I've been doing some research and I can't seem to figure out what I have in my 68 F100. I've looked at both sides and this what I have seen.

On the Driver side of the tranny case there is a metal tag that is about two and a half inches wide and about a quater of an inch tall. It has this number on it: 1X3X58 or 1X3X68 not sure if it's a 5 or 6 for sure. That's all the markings I see.

On the Passenger side of the tranny case the following number is stamped into the case: C-93691-S

Under than is an: A 3

That's all the markings I see as it's in the truck and I dont want to drop it if I dont need to. It has a Dana 21 married to it. I need to figure out what I have so I know the grear ratios and such also, so I can figure out what transfer cases might work as the Dana 21 is a high only transfer case. I want to swap it out for a High-Low transfer case.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
