I dont know if any of you are intrested in coming and participating or just watching, but I thought I would get the word out. The Mud Drags are on Wed. July 12th and start at 7:00 P.M. I will be there running my truck.
Great if I was closer I would come. I love watchin these things. Are you a member off an association. I recommend to anybody reading this to go an see one off these things. Youll love it. Hey Im just curious what truck are you running. Size off the engine etc. Good Luck tell us how you do.
Im running my 86 F-150 with a 5.0L I have installed headers and dual exhaust on it so I will be running in the 18 and under Stock class and the 18 and up stock class if they let me. I have 31" super swampers LTB's for tires. And no Im not a member of any associaction for mud drags this is a nonsactioned event. I do it just for the fun.
Awesome looks like your all setup for it. Those swampers sounds like your all geared up to drag. These things always draw a lot off people competitiors an crowd a like. I wish I was closer Id come in a heartbeat. Good Luck. Just to let you know Bruno which is a ways from you as an awesome mudrags an events in August. Never been there myself but everybody raves about it. Silverhighboy in the truck pulling thread mud drags as well according to his profile. Bruno is an all day affair so they put on a good show. If you get a chance get together a bunch off your friends an go up there you wont be disappointed. Once again good luck.
Well I made my two runs and got beat both times but it was a blast. There was no Stock 18 and younger class so i ran in the stock division. I was competive and almost won my second attempt but I just got out horsepowered and out sized in engines.
How many trucks competed altogether?. These things are usually pretty popular. Glad you had fun. You need a 460 in your truck that would change the outcome.
