small block 1967 F-100 swap??

Not mine but the son-in-law. He picked up a 67 F-100 with broken 300 6cyl. Has a fine 289 for it. He has motor mounts for the small block but needs to know which year will yield the frame mounts for bolting this in. Has the 4 speed trans. BTW mine are 60 Ranchero (stock) 64 Econoline P/U(small block toy) 74 F-100 Shorty 4X4 and 1921 Ford Model TT (one ton)

GO TO A JUNK YARD AND FIND A '69-'72 THAT HAS THE 302 IN IT,THE FRAME MOUNTS FROM THE 302 WILL WORK WITH THE 289.THE 302 TRUCKS MAY BE HARD TO FIND SINCE MOST OF THE '67-'72 TRUCKS CAME FROM THE FACTORY WITH THE FE ENGINE.I JUST PUT A 351W IN MY '69 F-100, IT HAD THE 360 FE ORIGINALY AND THE WINDSOR MOUNTED UP TO THE FE FRAME MOUNTS JUST FINE, SO IF YOU CAN'T FIND ANY 302 MOUNTS TRY A SET OF FE MOUNTS.
