48-52 vent window seal issues resolved!

I can't dredge up the old thread on this topic, Search doesn't seem to be working?

I figured out why my new Dennis Carpenter seals didn't align right with the wing window; the bottom part of the vent assembly was assembled wrong, and it appears it was done at the factory.

The spacer was installed below the bracket, against the spring. This let the spring draw the window frame too far down into the outer frame. The spacer sets the vertical position of the window frame.

After re-assembly as shown, it seals perfectly all around!
