94 F-150 4.9L 300, crank rotation direction help please
I have a 94 F-150 4.9L/300 6cyl and need to know the following info ASAP if someone can help...
When standing in front of the truck facing the engine, which way does the crank pulley turn? clockwise or counterclockwise?
I need to know because there are two diagrams for the belt. 1 belt route for no air cond, and a different belt route with air cond.
I just finished changing the water pump and thermostat and I swear the belt was routed for "no air cond"...but the truck does have air.
I don't know how long the belt was installed incorrectly but I'm filling up with antifreeze in the morning and would like to know before starting.
When putting the belt on, I routed per the diagram "with air cond".
Thanks...

Thanks a lot Lazy K!!
You have confirmed what I was thinking this morning after thinking about it last night. I thought it should turn clockwise or it would be like pushing the belt instead of pulling.
Thank you again :-) This is a very helpful bb, just wish I knew more so I could post answers instead of asking questions all the time...
