Removal of door plastic panel

Can anyone tell me how to remove the plastic panel on the pilot door without breaking the inside tabs.

Welcome to the forum

1) pop out the long strip at the top of the door on the rear above the panel.
2) pop out the window/door lock control panel (if equiped)
3) pop out the trim piece behind the door handle
4) remove the screws hidden behind the pieces that you have removed
5) pull straight up on the panel about 1" and it is off. These do not use pop in clips, that have tabs that go down into slots in the door.

on my 2001, there are three sheetmetal screws at the bottom edge of the panel into the door. next take the plastic trim off around the door handle and the power window control panel, two screws hidden behind that. last, llift the panel up an inch line like LX said. I have heard others talk about the "top stirp". mine has none, there must be some variation between years.
