I have a 1965 Ford F350 with a dumping flat bed. The sterring wheel has a lot of play in it. I found the problem by looking at the steering linkage and suspension under the truck. The problem is, I do not know what the part is called. It a shaft with a ball joint on the end. One end is connected close to the steering box and the other end is connected to a short arm which is connected to the left wheel. Any help you can offer will be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance.
Moog has all the parts you need. Try NAPA and ask for an old parts guy or lie and tell them you have a 78 F350. It is likley that the steering link and tie rod you need are the same for the lighter trucks (F100/F250)?
I also see you are in MD. E mail me at d.garber at bognetinc dot com and i can point you to my friend Tim who just restored a 65 F350 wrecker for his auto restoration bisuness, he is in DC. He may have one.

The 65 F350 is a straight axle truck. it still uses the gemmer one piece box and shaft that the four wheel drives use. The draglinks are avalible for 57 to 60 but not 61 to 66.
I want to thank everyone for their replies to me question. I thought the part would be difficult to obtain. I also have a 1964 Ford 4000 tractor, and the drag link is also hard to find (although there are other ways to fix the ball joint when it wears out).
