I am getting ready to put a 4.6 DOHC into my 71 Highboy... the winter project.... I already have the donor ('94 Mark VIII) so I am getting excited....
Good luck and let me know if you learn anything ... I am sure it will help me.
Regards,
Eric

I'm considering this myself but I'm thinking a step further since I want a lower stance anyway. I have a 93 grand marquis and I'm thinking about doing a complete front clip swap on my 70 xlt 2wd. Then I'll put the rear from the gm into into it too so the bolt pattern will match. That will also give me abs and rear disk brakes too. And the 5 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern matches more wheels.
