PRAY for my daughter..
Everyone,

Please PRAY for my daughter & my family..

My daughter Kara who is 9 was diagnosed with Leukemia back in August of 2005, she has had a fairly easy ride considering, with a couple of short stays in the hospital up until now. She went into the hospital (Cardinal Glennon) on 6/23/2006 with a high fever. Her fever would not break and through all the cultures that have been performed nothing was showing up. She had to be placed on O2 on 6/29/2006 due to poor saturations. Yesterday her saturations dropped into the high 60's and we were taken to PICU were she has been intubated and placed on a ventilator. She has been accessed in 3 places and they are pushing multiple meds at each access..

ALL I ASK IS TO PLEASE, PLEASE KEEP KARA IN YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS.

Your family is in my prayers. My grandfather had to deal with leukemia. It went into remission after a large amount of treatments and sleepless nights for the family. The good news is that there is always hope.

This is the worst pain a parent can experience. I went through a similar experience with my own daughter-it was like someone was ripping my heart out. Our whole family will pray for you.
