super chip
I have a 96 f250 7.3 142000 auto I bought that came with air ride and a super chip the guy gave me the paper work that showed the chip was for a 99-2000 7.3 will this be a problem?

Is the chip in the vehical already?? Is it a chip or a programmer/tuner?

With a chip, the code has to match your PCM code. Their should be a 4 letter/number code on or associated with the chip. For example your 96 pcm may be a ALF4. The code on the chip will have to match.
