Howdy ya'll. Probably doesn't belong here, but I saw that International has their VT275 listed, which is the V6 version of the upcoming 6.4. How long has that been on there? I get on every now and again and hope to find a VT390 listed. Sorry folks I just can't wait for this new diesel!

Sorry but the 4.5l is the v5 version of the 6.0 and has been in the Ford LCF trucks for about a year now. It does use the sequential turbos like the 6.4l is rumored to have, but the rest of the engine is not that new.

It's actually a V6 version. I knew that already. I knew they had used them for a while, but I just hadn't noticed it under International's website.

Yeah I knew it was a v6 version too but my fast typing fingers only thought it was only a v5. A v5, now that would be an interesting design!!!

I don't spend much time on the International site so I can't answer your question there.

Do you have a link to that or something? Just curious.

Yea I'd really like to see proof of that one. Ford and International have a deal until 2012. I don't think International would risk that close relationship between themselves and Ford.
