Turbo losing boost/strange noises

Hello there guys and galls, My name is Aron and im a good ole texan! oh yeah and im sort of having a slight problem with my f250....Ok i have a 05 f250 fx4 (yellow) 6.0 autto trans. its lifted has the bully dog system with power pup tuner. the truck has 13,000 miles. this is my problem, a few days ago i noticed that when i would step on the gas hard in extreme mode the truck would just not accelerate like it used to. So i listend to the turbo and it sounds totaly diffrent, instead of a nice compresing turbine "whistle", it has now changed into a sort of shop vack muffled sucking noise. it is not at all what it used to sound like. SO i also noticed that on the stock "boost gauge" in extreme mode it used to boot close to 40lbs according to the tock boos gauge. Now when i romp it it hardly gets above 20. There is no black or blue smoke at startup, and no more then usual when i am spooling the turbo and none when the turbo is de spooling aswell. im thinking thereis a leak in one of my intercooler pipes or "boost tubes". o i took it to ford and they replaced a few recal items and said they hooked it up to all the tests and everything checked ok. I told them to listen to it and listen to one of there trucks when they drive it and tell me if they here a problem. they ashured me that thats what it is suposed to sound like.....fools! There is deff a problem and im thinking im loosing boost someplace in the system. I took off the hoses i could see and checked for cracks but cant see anything. so now the truck boots/feals the same in every setting in the bully dog system. so im wondering if the banks technacooler would help this problem or is it something more serious. Oh yeh when i did pull the upper intercooler pipe.... the one from the compressor side to the intercooler, there was a bit of black oil in there. i remember back in my turbo eclipe days oil in the compresor side was a bad thing, but i have never delt with diesels before. Any info would help me out a million! thank you so much for reading this! Aron oh yes and i did do a bit of searchign on here for"siren noise" and other issues like losing boost and losing psi. and i just cant seem to find my exact problem.

If you're running the OEM intercooler with that kind of boost, I'd have a look around the edges of the tank for pieces of blue rubber sticking out. I've seen quite a few blow the tank on the hot-side.

The oil is from your crank case ventilation.

I wouldn't guarantee this, but it sounds like you may have blown the intercooler around the sides. The stock intercooler just can't handle that much boost. I changed over to a Banks Techni-cooler and you can really tell the difference between them. It's pricey and a bear to install, but worth it IMHO for us modders.
