The Mrs called today to find out how much the discount spectator tickets cost at Phil Long. Turns out they are free, you have to go to Phil Long and ask the receptionist. The Mrs. picked up a few extra today if anyone else wants to go and look. I'm hoping to watch Ceet, Spudco, and John B run the quarter mile. The twins and I haven't been to Bandimere, we should be easy to spot: An adult male dragging kids by the hand babbling "OOHCOOLLOOKATTHIS!WOWLETSGO SEETHAT!CANWECANWE?"

Hot and dry here. As for the looks nasty part; that's all it does-look nasty. Might have some wind, a few drops, back to hot and dry. Unirrigated areas look like July or August.
Haven't checked my email yet, while I'm there I'll send my cell #. Seems like we grew another teenager overnight, now I'm out-numbered 3 to 1. LOL

Hey thanks Hypoid for coming afterall! Good seeing you and your boys.
Did you leave after we talked to ya before my 3rd run? I made it to the 2nd round after "beating" an AC cobra. But then I was put out after I redlighted by only .006 trying to get my timeslip down!!! AND, I won Runner Up in the truck class! What a sweet trophy!! All and all, Fordfest was MUCH better this year, I didn't break any fingers or axles this time and I won a trophy!

I wish I had not been sooo last minute with the call to Phil Long. Perhaps more people would have come out. I don't see any mention of discount tickets for Truck Fest. I'll have to sick the Super-Mom on Phil Long: Okay, okay, maybe if I grovel the Super-Mom will see what she can do...
As it was we had a blast! It was great to visit with you and Spudco again. I caught up with Colo79Ford before we left, didn't see you or Mallary (sp?) on our way out.
You and John were still in eliminations when we left. How did John make out? How did that peg-legged silver F-250 do?

Last friday it ran a 14.332 and a 14.434.... But it had a major vacuum leak for both those runs, so now i wait until the endof the month to see what it can actually do now.
