4.2 v6 performance?
i realize that most truck guys are partial to v8's but i got an awesome deal on my 03 f-150 with a v6 new for $12,666 so i bought it, but even though the thing is very powerful for a v6 i was wondering if anyone knows some fairly inexpenxive ways to juice it up a little, i already have a k&n filter, bosch platinum 4 plugs, and run only 93 octane. i think it has around 230 hp. but id like to get about 260 horses out of it without emptying my bank account. any suggestions? or is it even possible without spending so much that i wouldve been better off buying a v8 truck?

InboundFX4 is right on. A tuner will make the biggest difference. A catback exhaust followed by cold air intake should probably be next. Maybe the total package (tuner, exhaust, CAI) will get you the 30 horses you want (or at least a helluva lot closer), I don't know. Someone else on this site would probably know better.
