That diesel emblem is off of a diesel Mercedes. It looks EXACTLY like the one they use on the Mercedes. Could be wrong here, but maybe somebody has put that emblem on there?

HMMM now that you say that it does. But i did not see any marking for the triton or 5.4 on the truck anywhere, it had regular ford wheels and nothing else looked out of place(Like the truck was done up in anyway with "Bling"), it was a limited, in pearle white. I did not look at the expedtion closely because i was in a rush, i wish now that i had looked closer at it, especially the exhaust pipe. Hopefully i run into it again becasuse it did have Mass plates on it.

Wait till Banks gets a hold of this new motor and also the tuners.. 425h/p and 600# torque! I hope that Ford has a better tranny for this motor.

I would certainly hope so, since GM is getting 22 in the new tahoes/suburbans with nothing more than engine management changes (displacement on demand).

I hope the new diesel does well - but, one problem might be selling it when diesel is .50-.85 more per gallon.

diesel tech magazine

I just got my new issue of diesel tech and it states that the F150's motor will produce 325 HP and 520 ft lbs trq. It does not however show what the MPG's will be of course. 325 and 520 is way more than it NEEDS but it will work I guess.

Unhappy Future of Fuel Prices

I'm sure interested in these 1/2 ton trucks with the small diesel. I just hope fuel is affordable. It seems like gasoline could keep rising up to 6 or 7 dollars; maybe more, who knows. But I don't see how diesel could get that high. If it gets much higher, its gonna cripple a lot of businesses in this country.
