Fellas, I gots to tell ya about my weekend. After the win on Wednesday night, I got on the phone to see if anyone would be interested in a roadie to Edmonton (nice city by the way) By Thursday night, there was 4 of us goin. So we hopped in the car at midnight on Thursday, and by 10AM Edm. time, we were walkin around West Ed. After killin the day in the mall (Hooters, a Roller coaster, a casino, and a water park all under 1 roof. heaven???) it was out to the bar. Nothin special there, other than an over indulgence. Saturday mornin, we wake up to a cop at the door. OMG, what did we do last nite!? Anywho, apparently the house across the back yard got shot up for some reason (in the new development around 91st&Ellesie[spelling?]) so he just had some questions for us, and wished us a good time. Well, around noonish we head downtown to check out Whyte Ave. and go take some pictures at Rexall. We're walkin up to Rexall, and some guy shouts at us "Can I take your picture??" Sure, why not. Turns out, he's shooting for the NHL. Awesome moment #1. After this, I remember I forgot my Canada flag on a hockey stick, so I return to the car to retreive it. After getting it, we return to the arena to take some pics. While there, Lavoilette arrived (booing ensued) and a CBC cameraman asked us if we wanted to shoot the opening for HNIC. (It was my Canada flag that made him ask us) DAMN STRAIGHT WE WANT TO SHOOT IT!!!!!!!! So we head over to the statue of Gretz, film the opening, and head to Whyte Ave so we can watch ourselves on national TV. So for anyone who watched the opening of the pre-game, I was the guy on the right with the Canada flag. HI!!!!!!!!!

Too bad I missed it, sounds like you had a great time. Did you manage to sneak in a FTE sticker for the TV shot? Hand out any FTE spotter`s cards? Just kidding, glad to hear you had a great time and the trip was fun.
Nice that the Oilers are on their way to the Cup, can hardly wait for tomorrow nite`s game!!!!
