Thanks everyone for all the help. I've got few modifications to make and I'll re-post.

Best of all your gearing will not be nearly as much of an issue and you may be able to stick with what you have. I believe that you will be more than satisfied if you try the Performer Plus. Your engine will have excellent throttle response and still have a slight lope. On a final note, keep your exhaust pipes on the small side with high flow mufflers. Believe it or not 2" duals with an H pipe would be ideal for your combination. They would also give your truck a very crisp sound and people will think that you engine is alot hotter than it actually is. Trust me on this and you will not be dissappointed. Keep us posted as to your results. Cheers.
I somewhat agree and somewhat disagree with this reply. I just sold my 81' f150 LB, and it was not by any means a heavy truck, 3750lbs empty at the dumps. My setup was a 69' 302 .030, 9.5:1 CR, edelbrock streetmaster 289 intake, holley 600cfm w/vac sec, headers, comp 270 cam .500 lft 224/224 110. I had the stock cam in it and decided that I wanted a "lope" to go with my gear drive, so I bought the 270 cam. With 3.50:1 gears it was a dog before 2500 rpm but it came unleashed at about 3000 and pulled pretty good, but the stock cam would have smoked it off of the line. I put 4.11 gears in the truck and it woke it right up. IMO I would just get 4.11's (3.73's are a waste of money when 4.11s are so close and just as cheap) dont dumb down the engine, kick up your RPM/MPH ratio, you do have Overdrive. The 302 can scream in anything, your peak torque and HP numbers will be higher and so will your rpm range (if you dont mind taking your engine up in the range a bit.) I had the performer plus cam in another 302 at one point and it does not have ANY sort of lope. Sounds stock, which is fine if you plan on operating the truck in the stock power range. There is nothing wrong with RPM's unless you are an Old Fart that wants to tow his boat at 1200 RPM up the road at 25mph in the fast lane with grudgedly face. Keep your setup but put in some 4:11's and a locker of some sort. Youll get more thumbs up with the lopey cam anyway.

I agree and that is exactly what I'm going to do. I'm going to leave the engine the way it is and save money for the 4:11 locker. And I am an old fart but I still like to go fast. Any one around the Houston TX area have a good deal on one?
