It sure causes the emotions to flutter.

I don't have to worry about it though because with me: it's good to be a fan of the game than a fan of the NAME.

Maybe the next game the Flames won't have to beat Koharski and Shick as well as the Ducks.

I will only (grudgingly) hope for the Greasers if all the other Canuck teams bite the dust.

Yeah the penalty's in the second and third (espically the third) just killed the flames momentum, the husseilus shot off the crossbar just added insult to injury, but i think when they come and play game 7 at the dome, the home crowd should give em' just what they need.

I'm sooooooooooooo looking forward to a calgary/edmonton series assuming we win tomorrow, it'll probably be one of the best series of the playoff's if it happens.

If there is a Queen's highway series the people at the CBC will have thought they all died and went to heaven.

Calgary & Edmonton

Montreal and Ottawa

If it should be a Edmonton vs Calgary series that would make a good reason to get together for a few brews at a pub or something, hey?

I'd love to meet in RD and yak trucks and hockey with ya fellas, but I dunno if I can even spare the time even to make the RD swap.
That Merc pic is a rendering of what I wanted, here's the actual truck I am desperately trying to get together for Street Wheelers here in Lethbridge, (the second weekend of Stampede)

I tell you this is one strange position to be in, I almost wish Edmontonians had not been so generous with their support of the Flames' last run to the cup.

Now I feel obligated to cheer for the Oilers, something I have NEVER done in the entire lifespan of that Hockey club. The only people I hated more than Sather, Muckler and Cement Head were Trudeau and Chretien!

It is a very strange feeling, like cheering for the Communist Party to win on election night or something
very bizzare, but I will get used to it..

go Grease... Um Oilers g(cough)!

They booed the Canadian Anthem in San Jose on Sunday night. Not an Oilers fan but they are all we have left.

Ringo, Think of it his way.

The Edmonton Oiler's team is made up of players from many places.
Jason Smith (their captain) is a Calgarian.I can't think of where they all come from but think of them as representatives of Alberta "first and foremost."

Who on the Oiler "team" is an arrogant loud mouth mindless Team Fan ?

Edmonton can represent Canada in the Greatest North American Hockey League .

One can Cheer on the Team Members without cheering for the sity of Edmonton
